22nd July - Foundation training - pages 15 & 16
29th July – Foundation Training with John Totten G7LWF –
Subject Technical Basics (not RF Frequency part page 8 and page 9)
5th August – 144MHz UK Activity Contest meet at Roundway Down, Devizes, meet from 19:00 for 20:00 start (finish 22:30). BYO refreshments. Grid Ref SU010-639 (QRA IO91AI). For those not interested in the evening hilltop session the shack will be open for the Foundation Training with Ian Carter G0GRI –

26th August – Demonstration and talk by Roger Stafford “Kite flown aerials”
(NO FOUNDATION TRAINING TONIGHT)
2nd September - Foundation Training with John Totten G7LWF –Subjects – pages 25 to 27.
9th September – BBQ at club shack, BYO food, say 7pm start. Family welcome.
16th September - Foundation Training with Ian Carter G0GRI –
Subjects – pages 28 & 29 and 30.
21st September (Sunday) – 144MHz Direction Finding event start 11am at club shack finish at 1pm, then rendezvous at local tavern. (Details to be provided by Chairman) [Fox will be G3PNH].
23rd September – FOUNDATION PRACTICALS and Course Recap.
27th September (Saturday 10:30 – 12:45) Foundation catch up for any missed subjects or practicals with G0GRI, possibly G8TTI or G7LWF or M0XBI assisting.
30th September – FOUNDATION EXAMINATION 20:30 to 21:15.
The club meets every Tuesday 7.30pm at the Sea Cadets HQ TS Tiger Long Close
Chippenham Wiltshire. Anyone interested in amateur radio is welcome to come along.
There is a full calendar of events including contests, field days, a direction finding fox hunt, talks, demos and presentations. Training for the Foundation Licence is also available.
The club is well equipped with a 60 foot tower with beams for HF and VHF and Yeasu and Icom transceivers.
